MTI completes and donates a house to a widow with two children

Nathiya is from Pooncheri village, Chengalpattu district. She has two children one daughter and one son, both studying in government school: the daughter in 9th standard, the son in 7th.

Two years ago, Nathiya and her husband had a bike accident. The husband were died on the spot at the age of 42 leaving the family with no support.

Nathiya had hip fracture and was admitted to the hospital where she remained for three months. When she left the hospital, her mind was seriously disturbed.

Nathiya husband was building a house when the accident occurred but she was obviously not able to complete the work.

Nathiya started to work in a rice mill, it means grinding rice and chilly flour, to feed her two children but their live became suddenly very hard.

At the time when Nathiya approached Malar Trust India, the family was living in a simple hut in very bad conditions and when MTI chairman Mr. G. Rupakanthan visited her house he understood the situation and decided to complete the work that the husband begun two years before.

Nathiya and her children are now so happy and thanks Malar Trust India
