Our fourth Day Care Centre opened in the Irular community of Puliyur village (Chengalpattu District) on Saturday September 12th 2020. The centre is serving children from 15 families who live in the village, who have only been able to attend school occasionally until now.
Two awards for Malar Trust India
On 28 August, Malar Trust India (MTI) received two awards from the Chengalpattu Department of Disability Welfare.

Last Sunday, Malar Trust India organized a commemoration day one year after the passing of Nandini, a child of Poonjeri who, at only 14 year of age, committed suicide for reasons that were never clear but were probably linked to a small disappointment in love.
